The German language proficiency level required for skilled workers to leave the country is an A2 certificate and/or a B1 certificate. The candidate also may have to attend and complete further in-service language courses in Germany.
The term (Occupation) implies to any candidate who fulfills the legal, technical, and language requirements for working in a motor vehicle workshop (car/four-wheeler workshop) and is able and willing to take up employment in a corresponding company in Germany.
The term (occupation) implies any candidate who fulfills the legal, technical, and language requirements for working in a vehicle workshop specializing in commercial vehicles (heavy truck workshops) and who is able and willing to take up employment in a corresponding company in Germany.
The ideal candidate must:
not be older than 41 years of age at the time of enrollment
be willing and able to learn German up to level B1 in their home country (India)
be willing to migrate to Germany permanently, integrate into German society, and live and work in Germany on a long-term basis.
Remain with the employer permanently (at least 24 months)
Be physically fit and able to carry out the occupation and work in a German workshop
not have any criminal record that prevents him from working in Germany
In addition to the specified personal attributes which are mandatory, the candidate must possess the following pre-requisites to get enrolled into the program.

Note: Proof of completed training as a commercial vehicle mechatronics technician that is equivalent to German educational standards is a mandatory document. Only degrees/diplomas from state-accredited institutions in the automotive and/or commercial vehicle sector are valid.
03 years of proven hands-on professional experience directly in the workshop as a frontline ‘service technician’ on passenger vehicles (car/four-wheeler) or commercial vehicles (heavy trucks) in the following domains.
Mainly as a maintenance or service technician
Primarily as a repair or system technician
Proficient as a diagnostic technician
Valid Driving License (Cars-LMV / Heavy commercial vehicles)
The candidate must be familiar with the following tasks, have performed them in a workshop, and can perform them independently.
Conversion /upgrading/retrofitting of vehicles.
Testing of vehicles’ technical system.
Compliance with the service plan.
Final check of the function of vehicles’ systems.
Wheel and tyre change including balancing.
Maintenance and inspection tasks according to manufacturer specifications (oil change, brake renewal, etc.).
Maintenance work and repairs to mechanical components (engine, gearbox, chassis, etc.).
Wheel alignment and adjustment as per vehicle specifications.
Reading and interpreting circuit diagrams.
Handling measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscopes, etc.).
Maintenance work and repairs of electrical components of vehicles (telematics).
Assembly and de-assembly of body parts.
Repairing of body parts.
Glass and window repairs.
Parts identification and procurement.
Testing of drive units, engine management systems, and exhaust systems.
Testing of manual, axile, and all-wheel drive transmission and auxiliary drives.
Functional analysis of air-conditioning systems or networked vehicle systems.
Testing and data communication between control units.
Inspection of components and assemblies –replacement of filters, spark plugs, replacement of high voltage components.
Checking fill levels and changing engine and transmission oils and hydraulic fluids.
Measuring and adjusting running gear.
Repairs of drive units, exhaust systems, and power transmission systems such as manual or automatic gearboxes.
Repair of body systems such as locking systems, sunroofs, suspensions, damping, and leveling systems.
Repair of electrical and optoelectronic data communication lines.
Carrying out test drives.
Carrying out the final test of all functions, instructing customers in the use of retrofitted components or devices if necessary, and handing over the vehicle to the customers.
